RULES OF THE
CONTEST
-This contest is to promote The Warriors, a cult
classic movie made in the streets of New York City in 1979. The fan films
produced should portray similar elements of the movie or original book written
by Sol Yurick.
-Submissions will be received via Email, snail
mail, or other form of distribution to either www.warriorsmovie.co.uk
or www.fanfilmsquarterly.com no
later than April 1st, 2007. No more submissions will be accepted for this
contest.
-Submissions will be accepted only in VHS, DVD,
VCD format, or as a movie file uploaded on a CD, or streamlined online with a
website for viewing. No more submissions will be accepted for this
contest.
-Only the first five (5) minutes of the film will
be viewed for consideration.
-All submissions received by either The
Warriors Movie Site or Fan Films
Quarterly will be considered property of these websites and will not be
returned to the submission source.
-Prizes and winners subject to change based on
extenuating circumstances or prize source parameters. These changes will
be announced prior to the May 1st winner announcement via this website.
-The winners will be selected by a panel of
judges that consists of representatives of both The
Warriors Movie Site and Fan Films
Quarterly, as well as a selection of three additional fan film promotional
websites, yet to be announced. All five judging sources will be announced
on this website prior to the April 1st Submission deadline. CHANGE NOTICE
TO CONTEST: Final judging panel will be posted by 7 April 2007.
